Freight marketplace

Marketplace in the console connects a shipper with its trusted carriers. Only carriers a shipper has invited see its loads.

Partners

A shipper invites a carrier with a one-time code. Once accepted, both see the partnership. The code cannot be used again. A carrier that is not trusted never sees the shipper's loads.

Invoicing details

Edit profile → Invoicing details: legal name, Registered in (the six GCC countries), VAT number, registration (commercial registration), street, building number, additional number, district, city, postal code.

A Saudi VAT number must be 15 digits starting and ending with 3. A Saudi address needs its 4-digit building number, district and 5-digit postal code (the National Address). Blank legal name: no VAT stated. Partners never see each other's details, only on the invoices between them.

The shipper posts a load

  1. Post a load → lane, equipment (for example reefer), temperature, pallets, Your target rate (carriers never see it).
  2. Optional Auto-award up to: a bid within it is awarded on the spot. Carriers never see the rule.
  3. Post.

The carrier bids

Marketplace → Loads: the loads on its board, each with a fit score, without the shipper's target → Place bid.

Award

  • The shipper: the load's Bids → Award, or Counter-offer (a carrier cannot counter).
  • The carrier: Accept counter (contracted at once), or after an award Confirm.

The rate confirmation is sealed: both parties, the lane, the rate. No target rate.

Haul and follow

The carrier → Dispatch: the haul becomes a job for a truck. Both parties follow it on the timeline: in transit at pickup, delivered at the proof of delivery.

Exceptions: a late pickup raises a delay for both. Report exception (a deviation); Resolve.

Invoice and settle

  1. Delivery drafts the carrier's invoice at the contracted rate.
  2. The carrier → Add charge (for example detention 1.5 h × 120.00) → Issue (for example on 30 days). The invoice is sealed.
  3. The shipper: Invoices from carriers → the invoice → Open dispute (a shortage) → the Dispute thread. The invoice is held.
  4. The carrier Proposes a credit; the shipper accepts it → Approve. The carrier Record payment.
  5. Export CSV: each line with its VAT category and rate, VAT, gross, both VAT numbers and the e-invoice's number and status.

VAT

The VAT follows the carrier's country on a domestic haul:

CountryVAT
Saudi Arabia15 %
UAE5 %
Bahrain10 %
Oman5 %
Qatar, Kuwaitnone

A haul that crosses a border is zero-rated as international transport of goods. A carrier not registered for VAT states none.

Saudi carriers and ZATCA

A Saudi carrier with an active e-invoicing unit, invoicing in SAR, has ZATCA clear the tax invoice before the shipper sees it: the invoice's own number, ZATCA's QR and its XML. Each credit agreed in a dispute becomes a credit note ZATCA clears, with its VAT credited.

  • The carrier's invoice shows ZATCA: cleared, the QR (scan it with ZATCA's VAT app) and Download the XML. The shipper sees the QR; the XML stays with the carrier.
  • A rejection leaves the draft with ZATCA's messages: ZATCA rejected the tax invoice: correct the invoicing details and issue again.
  • When Fatoora is down the invoice is issued and its tax invoice waits; it is sent again automatically. Issue the tax invoice again for one rejected later.

See E-invoicing (ZATCA).

The marketplace's timeline and dispute threads cannot be changed.
