Alerts
Alerts lists open alerts, worst first, as they happen: Live: new and changed alerts appear as they happen. Each names its rule, the vehicle, driver, trailer or charge it is on, and how many times it occurred.
Alerts come from the trackers (speeding, idling, low voltage, offline, geofences, harsh driving, crashes, cameras) and from the rest of the platform (maintenance, documents, fuel, driving hours, tachograph, late deliveries, tyres, trailers, inspections, tolls, screening, secure trips, driver keys). Alert rules decide which.
Work an alert
- An alert → Acknowledge, with a Note if you like.
- Add note to record what was done.
- Resolve once it is dealt with.
Many alerts resolve themselves when the condition ends: a truck slows down, a tyre is re-inflated, a cold chain recovers, a work order is completed, a document is renewed.
A rule set to Acknowledge before resolving (for example an unauthorized unlock or a broken seal) lets a person resolve its alerts only after someone has acknowledged them.
Many at once
- Tick the alerts, or Pick all.
- Acknowledge or Resolve → one remark for all, for example Called both drivers; all well.
- Each is answered on its own: 2 done, 0 refused. Those refused stay ticked, with the reason.
CSV downloads the list on screen: time, severity, status, title, vehicle, rule, occurrences, who acknowledged, when resolved. Arabic titles open as they are in Excel.
Pop-ups
New alerts pop up at the bottom corner wherever you are in the console: up to three at a time, each gone after 15 seconds or when opened.
Account menu → Alert pop-ups on this browser:
- from which severity: critical, high (the default), medium, low, or off;
- With a sound: a short chime, higher for critical.
It is set per browser, so a control-room screen can chime while a laptop stays quiet.
Elsewhere
- The manager app and manager web receive alerts live; the manager app also as push notifications. See The manager app.
- Notifications send alerts by e-mail, SMS, webhook, Teams or Slack.
A viewer sees alerts but is not offered Acknowledge.
