Docks and yard

Docks

Docks shows each warehouse's day board: appointments by dock and slot, checked in, completed, no-shows.

  1. Add warehouse, Add dock.
  2. Rules: slot length, free time, detention per hour, late after, no-show after.
  3. Book, Reschedule, Cancel the appointment.
  • A truck that enters the warehouse's place is checked in, on time or late.
  • Completing an appointment charges detention for the dwell beyond the free time, at the warehouse's rate (for example 60.00 AED an hour).
  • An appointment nobody turned up for becomes a no-show.

Carrier booking link → send it to a carrier. They book without signing in: the warehouse, its free slots, and a gate code for their truck. A slot already taken is refused. Bookings from the link are marked as such, and a carrier cannot attach your vehicles. The page opens in the carrier's language.

Yard

Yard runs the gate, the spots, the hostler moves and the dwell.

Gate in

Gate in → the trailer or container number (ISO 6346 containers have their check digit checked), plate, seal, appointment code. Each arrival is checked:

  • an appointment;
  • a registered trailer;
  • the e-seal armed, and the one armed;
  • the carrier screened against sanctions lists;
  • dangerous goods with their papers.

Then Let in or Turn away with a reason. A trailer is sent to the spot serving its door; dangerous goods to the hazmat zone; a container to a container spot.

In the yard

  • Yard map and In the yard: what stands where.
  • Hostler moves: pull a trailer to its appointment's door and back. The appointment follows: at the dock, then completed.
  • Dwell: detention accruing per asset.

Gate out

Gate out with the seal: the asset leaves with its detention, for example 50.00 SAR. A trailer cannot leave by an in-only gate. The gate-in and gate-out go on its chain of custody.

The yard log cannot be changed. Dispatchers and fleet managers work docks and yard.
