Proof of delivery

The driver captures it​

Driver app → Jobs → a delivery stop → I've arrived → Proof of delivery:

  1. Each item and its condition.
  2. The receiver's name.
  3. A signature drawn on the screen.
  4. Submit proof of delivery. Or, when the receiver refuses: Record refusal with the reason; no signature is needed.

Without a connection the proof waits on the phone and is sent once back online; it is recorded once.

In the console​

Proof of delivery → e-PODs: each record by driver and job, delivered, partial (damage flagged) or refused.

  • Show the signature. Its SHA-256 is the one sealed.
  • Verify chain: each record is sealed and names the one before it, so a changed or removed record breaks the chain.
  • Resolve an exception, for example damaged items, with a credit.

A delivered stop closes in dispatch with the receiver and the signature; a refused stop is failed with the reason. Signatures are stored encrypted. Records cannot be changed.
