Tyres

Tires holds each tyre and where it is fitted.

  • A vehicle's tyre panel: each wheel position (for example 6 wheels), its pressure and condition.
  • A tyre's kilometres follow the tracker's odometer.
  • TPMS: a pressure far below the axle's (for example 350 kPa on an 830 kPa steer axle) is a critical tyre alert and e-mail. It resolves itself when the tyre is re-inflated.
  • Replacement forecast: from tread readings over distance, for example 16 → 14 mm over about 1000 km.
  • Cost per km by brand.

Mechanics and fleet managers work tyres. A read-only role cannot scrap a tyre.
