How the organisation works
Each organisation has a country. The country gives a default currency, time zone and weekend; any of them may be set otherwise.
| Country | Currency | Time zone | Weekend |
|---|---|---|---|
| Saudi Arabia | SAR | Asia/Riyadh | Friday, Saturday |
| United Arab Emirates | AED | Asia/Dubai | Saturday, Sunday |
| Qatar | QAR | Asia/Qatar | Friday, Saturday |
| Kuwait | KWD | Asia/Kuwait | Friday, Saturday |
| Bahrain | BHD | Asia/Bahrain | Friday, Saturday |
| Oman | OMR | Asia/Muscat | Friday, Saturday |
See it
Your account → How we work: the country, currency, time zone and weekend. Every member sees it.
Change it
Owners and admins: How we work → Change → the country (the six GCC countries first), currency, time zone, weekend days → Save. For example, untick Saturday for a Friday-only site.
New records then default to the organisation's currency: a work order's costs, a pay plan, a warehouse, a yard (its time zone too), a customs declaration, a marketplace load.
Money in each currency's decimals
Amounts keep each currency's own minor unit:
| Currency | Decimals | Example |
|---|---|---|
| KWD, BHD, OMR | 3 | 1.250 KWD |
| SAR, AED, QAR | 2 | 3,200.00 SAR |
Every screen, form, e-mail and report shows and reads them so; thousands are grouped. A rate entered in KWD is kept to its third decimal.
