Leave

Payroll → Leave records each driver's annual, sick and unpaid leave and keeps its balance under the law of the country of employment.

Record leave

  1. Record leave → kind, first and last day (in either calendar for a Saudi organisation) → Record leave.
  2. A driver's name → their records → Cancel one that did not happen.

Leave over leave is refused, and so is annual leave beyond what the driver has earned.

Annual leave

CountryAnnual leave
Saudi Arabia (Art. 109)21 days a year; 30 from the 6th year
UAE (Art. 29)30 after the first year; 2 a month from the 6th month of it
Qatar21; 28 after 5 years
Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman30

Sick leave

Paid in tiers within a sick year, the 12 months from its first sick day:

CountrySick pay
Saudi Arabia (Art. 117)30 days at full pay, 60 at three quarters, 30 unpaid
UAE (Decree-Law 33/2021 Art. 31)15 at full pay, 30 at half, the rest unpaid

Elsewhere sick days are counted and paid per the employer's policy.

On the statement

On a pay plan under a GCC law, unpaid days and the unpaid share of sick days are deducted at the daily wage (monthly / 30), for example Sick leave at 50 % pay … 5 × 75.00 AED, Unpaid leave (days) 2 × 150.00 AED. Unpaid days are not service for the end-of-service gratuity.

Leave and dispatch

A driver on leave over a job's days cannot be given the job. To use the driver anyway, cancel the leave in Payroll first, so pay and balances stay true. See Dispatch.

Who is away shows on Drivers, in the dispatch picker and in the manager app. The kind of leave is shown only to people with payroll access: sick leave is health information.

Drivers see their balance in the driver app → My pay → My leave.
