Notifications

Notifications holds the channels alerts are sent to (Where alerts are sent) and Recent messages, each delivery with its status.

Kinds of channel​

E-mail, SMS, webhook, Microsoft Teams, Slack, and push to the manager app's phones. The manager app's push channel lists the phones registered; a phone where the app was uninstalled is forgotten.

Make a channel​

  1. New channel → the kind, a name, the address.
  2. Also to: more addresses, separated by commas. SMS numbers in international form: +966…, +971….
  3. Team members: tick people by name. Each address gets its own message and is retried on its own.
  4. Only about these vehicles: tick the vehicles the group looks after, for example a customer's dedicated trucks. None ticked: every vehicle.
  5. From severity, Also when resolved, At most per hour (counts messages, not recipients) → Create.
  6. Test sends a test message now.

The list shows duty@… and 3 more. Edit changes any of it; Delete removes it; a channel can also be paused.

E-mails name the vehicle, the alert and its severity, for example [CRITICAL] Fuel misuse: …. Webhooks are signed; see Integrations.
