Brand Studio
Brand Studio is where partners and resellers brand their own organisation and their customers. A partner's owners and admins make changes; its other members read. Anyone else is told the studio is for partners and resellers.
Overview
Customers, those with their own brand and those inheriting, hostnames verified and waiting, and what needs attention.
Brands
Brands: the partner, then each customer, with both colours and where the brand comes from: its own, inherited from its partner, or ZAITRACK's.
A brand →
- In force now: what its people see today.
- The editor: product name, primary and accent colours, logo, support e-mail. The contrast checks say whether text on the primary colour, and the primary colour on light and dark pages, can be read.
- The preview changes as you type: the console, an e-mail, the driver app and a PDF header.
- Save. A save from a page opened before someone else's save is refused: Someone else changed this brand meanwhile.
- Reset to inherited (asked first): its people see the partner's brand again.
- App: app name, Android package, iOS bundle ID, icon and splash (https), each checked as the stores require. Leaving all empty removes the app.
Domains
Domains → claim a hostname for an organisation, for example track.example.com. The studio shows the DNS TXT record to publish, with a copy button. Publish it at your DNS provider → Verify. Remove asks first.
On a verified host, the sign-in page wears the organisation's brand.
App builds
App builds → an organisation → Request a build: Android or iOS, preview or production. A platform the brand has no identifier for is refused, and the studio says what to set. A build records what it was made from, who requested it and when. Cancel (asked first) while it is unfinished. Builds are never deleted.
Not yet
- Builds run only once a builder is connected to the platform. Until then they wait as Requested, and the page says the builder is not connected.
- Submitting to the App Store and Google Play is not offered.
- A customer's own owner cannot brand their organisation here; an organisation's owner brands it from the console. See Branding.
